Wesley graduated from The University of Texas at Austin (1993) with a major in psychology and minor in Child Development. He received a Master of Arts in Community Counseling (1995) from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Tx, with specialties in Mental Health and Substance Abuse. Following an extensive internship at the Depaul Psychiatric Hospital in Waco, Tx, Wesley held positions in Geriatrics at the Heart of Texas region MHMR center and then as Director of Treatment Center Services at the Methodist Children’s Home. A private practice opportunity followed in 1999 that has seen a variety of children, adolescents, individuals, and couples and continues today. He also supervises counselor interns on their path to licensure.
Wesley blends his life in Texas with time in Utah in the practice of lifelong friends and colleagues Drs. Max and Jennifer Gale. He is married and has a son who is a senior at Baylor University and a daughter who attends Midway High School as a junior. He enjoys a variety of artistic endeavors that include musical and dramatic regional theatre, home remodeling, writing, and building quality relationships through community involvement and volunteerism.
