Dr. L. Collins Medlin is a South Carolina native and moved to Tampa, Florida in 2010 to begin pursuing her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology at the Florida School of Professional Psychology, at Argosy University, Tampa. Dr. Medlin then went on to earn her Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in neuropsychology from the Florida School of Professional Psychology in July of 2017. She moved to Utah in 2016 to begin her pre-doctoral internship in neuropsychology at the Utah State Hospital in Provo, Utah. Dr. Medlin has received training in pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric and forensic neuropsychology throughout her graduate school career. She has a long-standing interest in pediatric and youth concussion and brain injury. Dr. Medlin completed her doctoral dissertation on youth concussion in sports and has given multiple presentations on concussion and post concussion syndrome.
When not at the office, you can often find Dr. Medlin at a local sporting event, working out at the gym, attending a dance class, or singing her heart out at a local concert. She has had a love for music and dance since she was a little girl and is a classically trained ballerina. Dr. Medlin considers herself an avid foodie and loves trying out new restaurants. She loves traveling and exploring new places and has thoroughly enjoyed hiking three of “Utah’s Big 5” National Parks in the past year as a Utah resident. She hopes to visit the other two parks in the next year!
